The American Muslim Society of Napa is a Mu’sallah and gathering place to a diverse and dynamic community composed of, among others, indigenous Muslims and immigrants. The Napa masjid is the only mosque in the city. It is nestled in a Napa office complex in a warehouse space that accommodates a handful of congregants.
This 800-square foot masjid consists of a main musullah (prayer hall) and a private sister's musallah. Jummah (Friday) prayers are held weekly.
From March to November, the Khutbah (sermon) starts at 1:30 p.m. and end with congregation prayer at 1:55 p.m. From November to March, the Khutbah (sermon) starts at 1 p.m. and ends with congregation prayer at 1:25 p.m. Eid prayers, Taraweeh prayers, Iftaars, and other special Islamic events and holidays are also held at the Islamic Center of Napa.
The Islamic Center of Napa welcomes visitors at all times in order foster a culture of tolerance and understanding in the San Francisco Bay Area. The prayer times (shown on the frontpage) in particular, are excellent times to visit the center in order to meet local Muslims and observe Muslim's worship.

Our History
The American Muslim Society of Napa, also known as the Islamic Society of Napa Valley, began in the mid-1980s. The congregation's original house of prayer was in a Napa garage. The mosque was in a rented Solano Avenue storefront from early 1998 to 2002. After that, the congregation moved to its present location on California Boulevard.
